Rio Hotel & Casino to the World of Hyatt Loyalty Program
Embracing Change
The 2,500-room Rio Hotel & Casino has recently become part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program, heralding a new opportunity for members to earn and redeem points in Las Vegas. This move precedes the property’s transition into Hyatt’s Independent Collection under the Destination by Hyatt brand later this year.
Transformation on the Horizon: From Vision to Reality
A Renovation Journey
In 2021, plans were unveiled to renovate and rebrand the hotel, previously operated by Caesars Entertainment, under various Hyatt full-service offerings. Originally, a portion of the property was earmarked for conversion into a Hyatt Regency hotel. Currently, a $340 million transformation project is underway, with phase one slated for completion by autumn.
Enhancing Every Aspect: Upgrades and Innovations
Elevating the Experience
The renovation encompasses upgrades and enhancements across the property, including the 1,501-room Ipanema tower, the arrival area, building exterior, lobby, gaming floor, F&B outlets, meeting spaces, and outdoor pool area. Phase two will focus on renovating and redesigning the 1,021 rooms within the Masquerade Tower.
Prime Location: Accessibility and Convenience
A Strategic Position
Nestled at 3700 West Flamingo Rd, Rio Hotel & Casino enjoys a prime location within walking distance of the strip. This strategic positioning enhances accessibility for guests looking to explore the vibrant heart of Las Vegas.
Exclusive Offer for World of Hyatt Members
Rewarding Loyalty
As part of the group’s new hotel offer, World of Hyatt members can earn 500 bonus points for every qualifying night between April 1 and June 30, 2024, further incentivizing stays at Rio Hotel & Casino.
Expanding Hyatt’s Presence in Las Vegas
A Growing Portfolio
Rio Hotel & Casino joins Hyatt Place Las Vegas and Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village as the third property under the Hyatt umbrella in the Las Vegas area.
