Ingredients for making Besan Ki Sabzi
Gram flour – 1 cup, Onion 1, Turmeric – 1 tsp, Cumin – 1 tsp, Mustard – 1 tsp, Yellow mustard – 1 tsp, Coriander powder – 2 tsp, Green chili – 3, Red chili powder – Green coriander leaves, Salt – according to taste
Method of making Besan Ki Sabzi
First step: To make Besan Ki Sabzi, first sift the gram flour in a vessel. While making the gram flour batter, keep in mind that the consistency should not be too thick or too thin. Add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, coriander leaves to this solution and mix. Now you can take the help of a whisk to beat them.
Second step: Now put a pan on medium flame to heat. After the pan is heated, apply oil on it. Now prepare Besan Dosa by pouring the gram flour batter on the pan. When it is cooked, remove it from the pan.
Third step: Now we will prepare the vegetable gravy. In a mixer jar, grind 1 onion, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds, 2, 3 black peppers, 6-7 garlic cloves, turmeric – 1 teaspoon, and 2 teaspoons dry coriander very finely.
Third step: Now turn on the gas, place a pan and add mustard oil. Tadka with half a teaspoon fenugreek seeds and Kashmiri degi mirch in the oil. After that add the grinded spices to it. Now let this gravy cook well. After some time, add tomato puree and 2 green chillies to it.
Fourth step: While the gravy is cooking, cut the prepared gram flour dosa into the shape of gatta and roast it well in a pan by adding oil.
Fifth step: When the gravy is cooked, add the gram flour gatta to it and add 1 glass of water and let the vegetable cook well for some more time. When the vegetable is cooked, add kasuri methi and salt according to taste. Now eat this vegetable with hot rice.
