Last year’s IMPACT Awards marked the official launch of Lee’s nonprofit organization, the Hollywood Cares Foundation, which provides support and resources to communities in need, with a particular focus on youth services and resources.

Lee, 46, recognized the need to create the organization after seeing the immense untapped potential that exists in the world of pop culture to uplift underprivileged youth, particularly those from the brown and black communities.

‘Our work unlocks critical resources from the culture – from brand and personal influence to massive media reach – to provide life-changing programs for these young people,’ the reality star, philanthropist and entertainment businessman explained.

‘We help our young people see the best in themselves, and give them the tools to empower themselves and others, with programs focused on three categories: youth leadership, civic engagement, and personal growth.
