Actor Ryan Reynolds will be seen reprising his role of Deadpool in the film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’. Due to the merger of Disney and Fox, the actor felt that he would not be able to play the role of a superhero again. Recently, in a conversation, he told why he was afraid of not wearing Deadpool’s costume again. He said that he did not know how such a character would fit into the MCU.

Had this fear about his character

Ryan Reynolds said, ‘I did not know if I would ever be able to play the character of Deadpool again. This is not something I would say publicly, but I did not know how such a character would fit into that world [MCU].’ He said that when Deadpool was given the green light to be included in the MCU, many thoughts came to my mind. The actor said that one idea was a Rashomon story, which had these three different perspectives. Another idea for the third installment of the Deadpool film was that of an indie road trip comedy.

The actor said, ‘It actually had a budget of $5 or $6 million (Rs 417 crore or Rs 501 crore in Indian currency) with no special effects. It was a talkie-talkie road trip with me and [Karan Soni’s character] Dopinder and we collected and saw some things on the way. It was not an event film. If we are going towards Point C, the purpose was to get us to Point B. It was the strangest. I liked it. I thought it was fun.’

The audience is eagerly waiting to see the story of bringing together the pair of Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. To see this, the audience will have to wait till July 26. Because Deadpool and Wolverine will be released in theaters on July 26th.
