Jennifer Lopez’s revived romance with Ben Affleck may have served as the creative spark for her latest cinematic venture, “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story,” but the duo are not the sole headliners in this ambitious project. Comprising a movie, an album of the same title, and a documentary, this three-part release showcases Lopez’s multifaceted talents.

Directed by renowned music video director Dave Meyers, the film, which premiered on Prime Video on Feb. 16, unfolds as a surreal love story, whimsically nodding to J. Lo’s own romantic journey that has often been fodder for tabloids throughout her illustrious career. Centered around the character Alida, The Artist, portrayed by Lopez herself, the fantastical narrative features imaginative elements like a steampunk heart factory and a climactic rain dance finale.

However, what truly elevates the project is its stellar cast, reminiscent of a star-studded Hollywood event or a production by the late Garry Marshall. Alongside industry veterans like Jane Fonda and Jenifer Lewis, the film boasts unexpected appearances by figures such as Post Malone and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, among over a dozen other prominent celebrity cameos that punctuate the nearly hour-long spectacle.
