Those last 4 words of Amrish Puri before his death, he said this to his son, he completed shooting of five films even in bad condition

New Delhi: Amrish Puri is one of those few actors who turned every character he touched into gold. Whether he came on screen as a villain or in a character role, his every style has won the hearts of the audience. Not only this, Amrish Puri has also done comic roles with the same perfection. Death took away such a great artist from his fans very ruthlessly. In his last days, Amrish Puri was suffering from a special kind of syndrome. He was continuously getting weak, yet he worked with full dedication in his last five films. When the last moment came, he could say only four words to his son.

Amrish Puri’s last five films

In the year 2003, Amrish Puri came to know about his illness. Due to that disease, he had lost his appetite and was continuously getting weak. Despite this, he had fulfilled all his commitments. He had signed five films while he was fine. These five films included Kachchi Sadak, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Kisna, Hulchul and Aitraaz. He wanted to complete the films before his condition became more serious. And he did so and completed the shooting of his films before 15 December 2004.

These were his last words

Actually, in the year 2003, he had an accident while shooting for Jaal The Trap. He suffered serious injuries in this accident and had to be given a blood transfusion. After this, he became a victim of Myelodysplastic Syndrome. In which he did not feel hungry and was continuously getting weak. According to his son Rajiv, after the shooting, he was resting at home for some time. Then his son asked him how he was feeling. Then he said only four words – I am better than yesterday. Shortly thereafter, he died on 12 January 2005.
