Although the actor has always been careless about this, there was a time when he was all set to tie the knot. Popular film producer, Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Wardha Nadiadwala recently revealed an interesting anecdote related to her wedding day with the producer. Wardha recalled how Salman Khan was also going to tie the knot on the same day, but at the last moment the superstar postponed the decision of marriage.
Wardha Nadiadwala revealed this in a conversation with Connect Cine, she said, ‘I came to know about it the next day of our marriage. I asked Sajid, ‘What were you two talking about? You guys were whispering something in each other’s ears and then both of you were laughing.’ There was a long argument between them on the stage. So the next day he mentioned this to me.
When Salman said – Let’s run away…
Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Vardha Nadiadwala told the next day of the wedding, ‘We were supposed to get married on the same day, but he backed out. He (Salman) was saying that grandson, the car is behind, let’s run away.’ He is very sweet. He welcomed me on the stage and congratulated me. Then I was shocked, ‘Oh, so this is what you guys were talking about.’

When asked who he (Salman) was going to marry? Vardha laughed and said, ‘I think he has revealed all this on Kapil Sharma’s show. All I knew was that I am Sajid Nadiadwala’s bride. I was very excited that I was getting married. After this, she recalled, ‘Later, I was making a video for Sajid, where he interviewed all his friends, during that time also Salman Khan told everyone, ‘Grandson I told you that there is a car behind us, let’s run away, you did not listen.’

In 2019, Sajid Nadiadwala also spoke openly about this situation on Kapil Sharma’s show. He recalled, ‘Salman already had a girl, I had to find a girl for myself. I asked my mother and family to find a girl for me, because Salman and I had planned to get married on the same day. His father Salim sir’s anniversary falls on November 18, so we had also decided that date.
When Salman said before marriage – I am not in the mood
She further told that just 5-6 days before the wedding, he said, ‘I am not in the mood.’ He took this decision. Then he came on stage during my wedding and whispered in my ear and said, ‘There is a car waiting outside, change your mind and run away.’
