By selling more than 10 lakh tickets on its first day, the film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has become the first Indian film of this year to sell so many tickets in its advance booking phase. Actors Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will be seen in the lead roles. The film has already achieved good pre-sale by earning Rs 48.27 crore so far. According to a report published on trade website Sacnilk, it is believed that this film directed by Nag Ashwin will earn Rs 50 crore nationwide from its advance sales.

It is quite impressive that ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has created an all-time record with its first day business in Hyderabad. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has earned a total of Rs 8.57 crore, which is the first film ever to have such a huge sale on the first day in the city as compared to ‘Salaar’. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. More than 18 lakh tickets have been sold across the country and the total collection has been Rs 48.27 crore. The film has done great business for the Telugu market by selling more than 12 crore tickets on the first day and has already earned a lot. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has shown better pre-sale results than ‘Salaar-Part 1: Ceasefire’.

The film is expected to earn a total of Rs 180-200 crore, which includes Rs 120 crore from India and Rs 60 crore from abroad. If ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ crosses the 200 crore mark, it is expected to become the third Indian film after ‘RRR’ (2022) and ‘Bahubali’ (2017) to have a great opening at the box office worldwide. The film has many star actors, but the theme of the story also impresses the audience enough to watch the film. People will get to see science fiction and Indian mythology in it.
