‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is directed by Nag Ashwin. The budget of the film is Rs 600 crore and it is being called the most expensive Indian film till date. Now after the success of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, the makers have also announced its sequel.

What did the director say on the sequel?

Talking to Hindustan Times, director Nag Ashwin had said that he wants to complete the story of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ by making its next part. In the next part, he will try to do justice to Bhairava (Prabhas), SU-M80 (Deepika), Ashwatthama (Amitabh) and Supreme Yaskin (Kamal). He had said- ‘We still have a lot of shooting left, even the casting for new characters is pending.’
