New Delhi. Swara Bhaskar, who is away from films but is associated with controversies, is making headlines with one tweet after another. Recently, on the special occasion of Bakrid, Swara got angry at a food vlogger. Who, while sharing his plate of food in his post, wrote, ‘I am proud to be a vegetarian. My plate is free from tears, cruelty and sin…’ Reposting this post of the food vlogger, Swara targeted all vegetarians and taunted them. After taunting vegetarians, Swara took a dig at a group of Jains in Delhi, who wore Muslim attire to save goats from being sacrificed on the festival.

Swara Bhaskar wondered in her post what happened to those goats after being saved? Swara wrote on her ex handle, ‘I hope the goats have been adopted by the ‘rescuers’ and are treating them lovingly like pets… If you want to rescue, then take responsibility for the future too!’

Not only this, Swara also reshared a tweet in which it was said that Jain people dressing up like Muslims on Bakrid seems ‘less religion and more Islamophobia’.

However, the funny thing was that Swara had closed the comment section. However, she still became the target of trolls due to this tweet. Netizens found Swara’s tweet a bit strange and people started questioning her thinking and understanding. One user asked, ‘Why is a person’s care for living beings being mocked?’ While another wrote, ‘Life savers are better than life takers, no matter what life it is.’

Know what Swara had said about vegetarians before this

Swara recently reshared her food vlogger’s post and wrote – To be honest… I don’t understand one thing about vegetarians. Your entire diet is made by taking away (baby) calves from their mother’s milk, forcibly impregnating cows, then separating them from their babies and stealing their milk. Do you eat root vegetables? Even in this, the entire plant is murdered! Be a little calm, don’t say such things just because it is Bakrid!’
