Recently Swara Bhaskar said that her Twitter account (X) is the most expensive thing for her because it ruined her career. She says that now no one in the film industry wants to cast her. In a conversation with ‘Connect Cine’, Swara said- If there was anything in the world that was most expensive for me, it was my Twitter account because I had to pay the price for it with my career in a way. After this she said that for a lot of producers I am untouchable in the industry and these are not my words. These are the words of my well-wishers, producer, director friends who have called me and told me. People tell me that we wanted to cast you but the studio refused after hearing your name.
Swara recalled that a casting director told her that she often gets to hear common things for ‘actresses like Swara Bhaskar’, but when she asks why they don’t cast her, she is told, ‘They say no, controversies keep happening’. I don’t know what the fear is but there is fear.
Swara said that when people stop her on the streets or talk to her at the airport, many people support her and she draws strength from that support. However, there are many people, some of whom are also her well-wishers, who feel that she has shot herself in the foot.
Swara further says – There are many people who keep saying that ‘you have done the wrong thing, you have ruined your career, why did you do this? It was a big stupidity of yours’, which also includes your own team. People who love you and they come from a place of concern. They are your well-wishers so they feel bad seeing you. Like my brother, he is my biggest supporter and he is also the most angry that a powerful actress like you shot herself in the foot.
