‘Hamare Barah’ will be released, Bombay High Court gave permission

The Bombay High Court has given permission to release the film ‘Hamare Baarah’ today with some changes. There are only 3 changes in the film ‘Hamara Barah’, there are 3 dialogues, which have been muted. The rest of the film will be the same. Regarding the film, the court had earlier also said that there is nothing against the Muslim community in the film, but there may be objection regarding some scenes. After this, the court asked both the parties to talk to each other and find a solution. Earlier, actor Anu Kapoor’s film was to be released on June 7, but due to controversies the film could not be released. In the petition against this film, along with the Islamic faith, it was also accused of insulting Muslim women.

Let us tell you that in Tuesday’s hearing, the Bombay High Court had given orders to mute some dialogues. Besides, the court had raised objection on its trailer and imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh on the producer. The court said that this film is contrary to the trailer and gives a good social message.

The trailer of Hamare Barah was removed in just 24 hours after its release on May 30 because there were objections to some scenes and dialogues of this film based on the issue of population control. The allegation was that the film insults the Muslim community. The poster of the film was also released on August 5, questions were raised on it too.
Imtiaz Jaleel, president of Maharashtra unit of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, had alleged that the name of the film was Hum Do Hamare Barah. Which later became our twelve. In this the Muslim community was targeted. The aim of the film is to earn money by creating controversy. It should be ensured that no community is made fun of.
The Karnataka government issued an order banning the release of its trailer after some Muslim organizations expressed concern. It was said by the government that if the film is released, riots may break out.
