Justice for Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal
Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, famous for her role as Mrs. Roshan Sodhi in “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” has emerged victorious in her sexual harassment case against the show’s producer, Asit Modi. The Legal Battle
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal filed a sexual harassment case last year against Asit Kumar Modi, Sohil Ramani, and Jatin Ramani. Initially met with no response from the Mumbai Police, she sought assistance from the Maharashtra government. Within four months, the committee found Asit Kumar Modi guilty under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act of 2013.
Allegations Against the Producer
After portraying the role of Mrs. Sodhi for 15 years, Jennifer made serious allegations of mental and sexual harassment against Asit Kumar Modi. She also accused project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of disrespectful behavior towards her. Subsequently, other actors from the show, including Monika Bhadoriya, Priya Ahuja Rajda, and former director Malav Rajda, came forward with similar allegations of mistreatment on the sets.
